GUIDELINES FOR THE DIOCESAN ASSOCIATION OF
PARISH PREX SECRETARIATS (DAPPS)

  1. The Diocesan Association of Parish PREX Secretariats (DAPPS) is created to promote the glory of the Blessed Trinity and the Renewal of Parishes in the Arch/Diocese.
  2. Parish PREX Secretariats (PPS) should unite themselves to form a DAPPS for unity, mutual help and guidance, with the permission of their Arch/Bishop.
  3. The DAPPS shall be headed by a Spiritual Director appointed by the Bishop and Lay Couple Coordinator(s) appointed by the Spiritual Director.
  4. The DAPPS will hold a bi-yearly Convention for all PREX Parishes in the Diocese as a bi-yearly spiritual renewal.
  5. The DAPPS will visit regularly Parishes within the Diocese conducting PREX Seminars to provide moral and spiritual support for the continuous growth of PREX.
  6. The DAPPS Spiritual Director will hold office "ad nutum Episcopi" (at the pleasure of the Bishop) while the lay coordinators shall hold office for a term of two (2) years and renewable for another term.
  7. The DAPPS shall promote PREX Seminars in parishes where there are still no seminars.
  8. The DAPPS, in coordination with the respective National Association of Parish PREX Secretariats (NAPPS) Vice President, may hold outreaches in other Dioceses when requested by Parishes where there are still no DAPPS. If there is already a Diocesan Secretariat, the requesting Parish must seek a written approval from their own Diocesan Secretariat.
  9. If aid is necessary, DAPPS may seek the help of the NAPPS. NAPPS Central Office is at Holy Trinity Formation House, 43 Walnut Street, West Fairview, Quezon City, with telefax no. 939-9542.
  10. The DAPPS should be registered with the NAPPS Central Office when formed.
