MESSAGE/INVITATION TO PREX GRADUATES

Greetings of LOVE and PEACE to all !

We are pleased to announce that the Parish Renewal Experience (PREX) Movement, through the National Association of Parish PREX Secretariats (NAPPS), will be holding its 12th National PREX Convention on April 27, 28 & 29, 2012 at the YnaresCenter, Antipolo City, with the convention theme: "CALLED TO PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL OF LIFE".

The theme is taken from the 11th encyclical of Blessed Pope John Paul II, “Evangelium Vitae”, meant to be a precise and vigorous reaffirmation of the value of human life and its inviolability. Life is God’s sacred gift to man which manifests His great love for us, as revealed in the redemptive mission of Jesus Christ - "I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (Jn 10:10).

The convention is a biennial gathering of all PREX graduates coming from the different parishes all over the country. It serves as a venue for all of us PREX graduates to come together in fellowship, renew acquaintances, and reflect on the inspiring and insightful Talks of Speakers. Among the invited speakers are:

  3. Most Rev. Bishop Broderick Pabillo, D.D.
  4. Most Rev. Bishop Mylo Hubert C. Vergara, D.D.
  5. Rev. Fr. Ramon Ramos, CP
  6. Most Rev. Bishop Pablo Virgilio David, D.D.
  7. Most Rev. Bishop Chito Tagle, D.D.

We are inviting you to come and actively participate in this momentous event. Your presence will be a blessing to other PREX Graduates.

Please take note of the following convention details:

1.

No. of Delegates – We encourage every Parish Secretariat to send at least a minimum of 10 delegates. Incentive: 30 delegates + 1 - Free registration to one PREX Graduate for Parish delegation of 30 persons.

2.

Convention Fee – fee for the event is Two Hundred Pesos (P 200.00) which will cover the Convention kit, Souvenir Program, Certificate and ID. (Priests/nuns are exempted from payment of the convention fee.)

Transportation, meals and accommodation shall be for the sole account of the delegates. Food concessionaires will be available outside the convention center, with food at very affordable prices.

Our organizing team however will be ready to assist delegates by providing adequate information on most economical and first rate lodging facilities, as well as facilitating booking arrangements in advance. Delegates may contact the organizing team for assistance (please refer to the Directory of Convention Organizing Team).

Registration - To facilitate registration, we encourage parishes to pre-register by accomplishing the attached form in advance. This can be reproduced or downloaded thru the NAPPS website and may be accomplished and sent to our e-mail address: register@prexnapps.org.

Payments may be deposited to the account of NAPPS FOUNDATION, INC. - BPI Current Account No 4501-0024-16, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Fairview, Quezon City. Please fax deposit slip showing the bank validation reference code, with your Parish Name and address indicated on it, to: Kuya Nato & Ate Joji Isidoro (02) 984-0788 or Kuya August & Ate Beth Perez (02) 932-0621.

Delegates shall be considered as duly registered only upon receipt of the copy of bank-validated deposit slips or official receipt of payment.

Souvenir Program- all parishes are encouraged to advertise in the Convention Souvenir Program. Parish ads should include a write-up on the PREX history and current updates in the parish.

i. Parish Advertisements - P 2,100 per page only
ii. Commercial Advertisements - P 5,100 per full page
P 3,100 per half page
P 2,100 per ¼ page
P 250 per line ads

b)

Deadline Date: Please send your advertisement materials (camera-ready layouts) not later than January_31, 2012.

The Advertising contract is enclosed for your easy reference. If extra copy is needed, you may download the contract thru our website, www.prexnapps.org.

Lastly, we wish to advise that all Parish PREX Secretariat’s banner which will be posted inside the convention center should measure 2’x 3’ in size. This is to give parishes equal space of exposure inside the convention center.
